The old saying, "You can't tell a book by its cover applies to the book "The Boy Who Granted Dreams". I enjoy a good historical novel. So when I read the caption on this book it caught my interest. It is a story of a young girl in 1909. She leaves her homeland and comes to America to make a better life for her and her infant son. However when I got into the story, because of the moral content and bad language, I had no desire to go any further. It is too bad because the story line, up to that point, was interesting. This was a free book that I received from NetGalley. The opinions are strictly my own. I will look forward to trying another book by NetGalley.
